Can EFT Tapping help with anxiety?
The short answer is yes - a huge number of people find that EFT tapping helps ease anxiety.
Are there exceptions? Also yes. EFT Tapping might not make a difference if the anxiety is caused by medication or an overwhelming sensory environment.
Can EFT Tapping help anxious students when they are facing exams? Yes - it has been used successfully with students of all ages to ease anxiety, stress, overwhelm, focus and more. In fact, schools that have tried regular tapping in classrooms have reported positive results both in classroom culture and the experiences of individual students. There are now programmes to help teachers introduce it to their classrooms, for example, the ‘Tapping in the Classroom’ programme developed by www.evidencebasedeft.com

How long does it usually take? This varies hugely depending on the person’s unique situation. Some people find that simply tapping whenever they find anxiety creeping in is enough to bring relief and improve their situation. (The basic method is designed to be easy to learn and apply to in-the-moment emotional stress.) Children often experience quicker results than adults.
If a person has more serious anxiety, it is more pervasive and/or there were stressful events in that person’s life that have contributed to the situation, a few sessions with a well-trained practitioner can be more helpful.
