Relieve pain & feel calmer when experiencing illness or injury
Some ways in which EFT can be helpful:
Reduce or relieve pain (when there is underlying emotional stress contributing to that pain).
Ease stress or anxiety associated with hospital visits or a diagnosis.
Learn to use EFT as a self-help method so that you can ease stress or anxiety or feel calmer whenever needed.
Achieve greater clarity of thought. (Often, as we clear up those ‘big’ emotions**, we begin to see a situation more clearly.)
I recommend booking a free consultation call (or contact by email or text) so that we chat and check that your issue is likely one that can be helped using EFT.
*Note: While EFT has proven effective and beneficial for many people, there is no one therapeutic technique that works all of the time for everybody and there are also certain situations (psychiatric conditions) in which a different technique may be better.
**Emotions provide valuable information. When they are overwhelming, however, or when emotions from past experiences are negatively affecting life in the present, finding relief from them can be helpful.
Curious about the research?
EFT has been around for more than 20 years and there are ever-growing numbers of studies that show the effectiveness of EFT on all kinds of stressful emotions, as well as on pain.
There are, of course, exceptions, and particularly when it comes to pain, the degree of relief may depend on just how much emotional factors are contributing to that pain.
One of the best places to find this information is on the ‘Evidence-Based EFT’ website, www.evidencebasedeft.com
Please note that the EFT used in the majority of these studies is ‘Clinical EFT’ (equivalent to that taught by EFT International and what I offer).

“During each session we focused on two different physical pains I had been having for a long time…
I was astounded at the unraveling of thoughts and the connection of words with the pain (and emotions ) I was feeling . Siobhan is a gentle, caring and wonderful guide in a place where you may feel some vulnerability.
No-one is more surprised than me when I tell you this worked for me. I had no preconceived ideas going into this process and i thought sure I'd give it a go . Now I have a tapping app on my phone and frequently take the time out to use it .
…and the pain in both areas went away over a short few sessions. I'm very thankful to Siobhan...”
